1. Acceptance of These Terms

Welcome to KAIRO.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the KAIRO application, website, and related services provided by Kairo Technologies Group, Inc.

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using KAIRO, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree with these Terms, please discontinue use of KAIRO.

2. About KAIRO

KAIRO is an Intelligent Wellbeing Companion designed to support your long-term wellbeing through thoughtful conversations, practical wellbeing tools, daily Check-ins, personalised guidance, and a relationship that grows with you over time.

Features may include:

  • KAIRO Companion

  • Daily Check-ins

  • Long-Term Memory

  • Personal Profiles

  • Personalised Daily Plans

  • Wellbeing Tools

  • Sleep Sounds

  • Brain Noise

  • Premium features

  • Future wellbeing experiences introduced through updates

KAIRO is designed to support general wellbeing, self-reflection, and healthier daily habits.

3. Important Medical Disclaimer

KAIRO is not:

  • a doctor;

  • a psychologist;

  • a psychiatrist;

  • a therapist;

  • a healthcare provider;

  • an emergency or crisis service.

Nothing within KAIRO should be interpreted as medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or a substitute for professional healthcare.

Always seek qualified medical or mental health advice regarding your individual circumstances.

If you believe you may be experiencing a medical emergency or are at immediate risk of harming yourself or others, contact your local emergency services or an appropriate crisis support service immediately.

4. Artificial Intelligence

Many features within KAIRO use artificial intelligence.

While we aim to provide thoughtful, supportive, and evidence-informed wellbeing guidance, AI-generated responses may occasionally:

  • be incomplete;

  • contain inaccuracies;

  • become outdated;

  • misunderstand context;

  • not be appropriate for your individual circumstances.

AI should support—not replace—your own judgement and, where appropriate, professional advice.

You remain responsible for decisions made based on information provided by KAIRO.

5. Your Responsibilities

You agree to use KAIRO responsibly and lawfully.

You agree not to:

  • misuse the service;

  • interfere with its normal operation;

  • attempt unauthorised access to any systems;

  • reverse engineer the application except where permitted by law;

  • use KAIRO for unlawful purposes;

  • use KAIRO in a manner that could harm other users or the integrity of the service.

You remain responsible for the information you choose to share within KAIRO.

6. Premium Subscriptions

KAIRO may offer optional Premium subscriptions that provide access to additional features and functionality.

Subscriptions purchased through the Apple App Store are managed by Apple.

Subscriptions purchased through Google Play are managed by Google.

Subscriptions:

  • renew automatically unless cancelled;

  • may be cancelled through your Apple or Google subscription settings;

  • remain active until the end of the current billing period after cancellation.

Prices, subscription options, trial periods, and available Premium features may vary by platform, country, or region.

As KAIRO evolves, Premium features may be added, improved, modified, or retired.

7. Intellectual Property

KAIRO—including its software, user interface, conversations, designs, branding, graphics, logos, trademarks, documentation, and content—is owned by Kairo Technologies Group, Inc. or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use KAIRO solely for your personal, non-commercial use.

These Terms do not transfer ownership of any intellectual property to you.

8. Privacy

Your use of KAIRO is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

Our Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used, stored, and protected.

By using KAIRO, you also acknowledge the Privacy Policy.

9. Availability of the Service

KAIRO is an evolving product.

We continually improve its capabilities, stability, and user experience.

As a result, features may:

  • be added;

  • be improved;

  • be modified;

  • be renamed;

  • be replaced;

  • be removed.

We do not guarantee that KAIRO will always be available without interruption.

Temporary outages, maintenance, software updates, or third-party service interruptions may affect availability from time to time.

10. Beta and Preview Features

From time to time, KAIRO may offer features identified as:

  • Beta

  • Preview

  • Early Access

  • Experimental

These features are provided to help us improve KAIRO and may:

  • change significantly;

  • contain bugs;

  • operate differently from future releases;

  • be modified or discontinued without notice.

Your feedback helps shape the future development of KAIRO.

11. Acceptable Use

To help maintain a safe and respectful experience for everyone, you agree not to use KAIRO to:

  • violate any applicable law or regulation;

  • infringe the rights of others;

  • upload or distribute malicious software;

  • interfere with or disrupt KAIRO or its supporting infrastructure;

  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to systems, accounts, or data;

  • use automated tools to abuse or overload the service;

  • misuse KAIRO in any way that could harm other users or the integrity of the platform.

We reserve the right to investigate misuse and take appropriate action where reasonably necessary to protect users and the service.

12. Suspension and Termination

You may stop using KAIRO at any time.

We may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary to:

  • protect users;

  • protect the integrity, security, or availability of KAIRO;

  • investigate suspected misuse;

  • comply with legal or regulatory obligations.

Where practical and appropriate, we will attempt to provide notice before permanent termination.

13. Disclaimer of Warranties

KAIRO is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Kairo Technologies Group, Inc. disclaims all warranties, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including warranties of:

  • merchantability;

  • fitness for a particular purpose;

  • non-infringement;

  • uninterrupted availability;

  • accuracy or completeness of AI-generated responses.

We do not guarantee that KAIRO will always operate without interruption, error, or delay.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Kairo Technologies Group, Inc., together with its officers, directors, employees, contractors, affiliates, licensors, partners, and service providers, shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or relating to your use of KAIRO.

This includes, without limitation:

  • loss of data;

  • loss of profits;

  • business interruption;

  • loss of goodwill;

  • personal decisions made based on AI-generated responses;

  • temporary service interruptions.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such limitation is prohibited by applicable law.

15. Third-Party Services

KAIRO relies on carefully selected third-party services to operate certain features.

These may include services for:

  • artificial intelligence;

  • cloud infrastructure;

  • subscription management;

  • application distribution;

  • analytics and diagnostics.

Your use of those services may also be subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

Kairo Technologies Group, Inc. is not responsible for the independent policies or practices of third-party providers.

16. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws applicable to Kairo Technologies Group, Inc., except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence require otherwise.

Nothing in these Terms limits any legal rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.

17. Changes to These Terms

As KAIRO evolves, these Terms may also evolve.

When material changes are made, we will update the Last Updated version and, where appropriate, notify users through the application or our website.

Your continued use of KAIRO after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of those revised Terms.

If you do not agree with updated Terms, you should discontinue using KAIRO.
